Juror Show & Awards
Vivianna has received peer recognition and juried awards for the past 5 years.
- Won 2nd Place Award in 2-D Works for her painting entitled “Heat” from the Art Council of Southwest Florida (ACSWF). Comments from the judge: “The figure dominating the canvas is beautifully rendered with the artist using tone to create complexity of depth in the subject and the subject’s clothing. The gaze of the subject coming off center and in 1/4 profile adds tension to the composition that focuses the viewer on that gaze, making an intimate encounter with the painting.”
- Awarded a one-woman art show at Scan Design in Naples, Florida to display her art. Over 250 guests and colleagues were present.
- Received an Award of Merit from the 29th Annual International Exhibition for the Colored Pencil Society of America for her drawing of a sword-billed hummingbird in motion. There were over 632 entries of which 120 were selected.
- Selected as one of 41 artists (out of 273 entries) selected for the Maryland Federation of Lowe House Gallery exhibition. She was selected by juror, Teddy Johnson, the Cade Gallery Director at Anne Arundel Community College. She has further been awarded the Juror’s Choice Award at the same showing.
- Presented the Luxembourg Art Prize: Certificate of Artistic Merit
- Marco Art Center: Third Place Award for the portrait of “Levi”
